An Old Blind Lady and a Dishonest Doctor
Once a lady became blind. She was old. There was a doctor in the area. After being blind the lady called in the doctor and said, “If you are able to make me cure. I shall give you a large fee.” The doctor agreed and came to her house alone because nearly daily for treatment. The blind woman lived in her house alone because she had none. She was very rich and her house was full of valuable furniture’s. Getting the chance of her blindness, the doctor nearly daily stole the furniture one by one. Thus at a time there was no furniture in the lady’s house. After few months the old lady became cure but saw no furniture in her house. She realized that the doctor removed her valuable furniture’s. Then the doctor said to the lady, “Give me my fee which you have promised”. The lady refused to pay it and said, “Nothing is visible in my house. So, you have failed to cure my eyes. I will not give you the face.”
